Today's much anticipated game was at home to village rivals Kintore United. The game kicked off with Kintore United on the attack from the word go. Jack Chalmers clearing well at the back and Dylan Chapman winning the ball well in left back that kept United at bay. Kintore United tried a long range effort that was handled comfortably by Stuart Derval. Kintore Boys Club started to get forward with Matt Milne getting past the United defence but his cross was cleared. United's number 10 went through but Stuart Derval was out quick to collect. Kintore BC were now starting to put some good passes together. Harry Rae beat two players and put a good pass to Matt Milne but his shot went wide. Owen Lawson slid the ball through to Scott Cadger but United held their line well and caught him offside.

Harry Rae was coming onto a great game, turning well and beating a player to force a corner. Kintore BC were in command at this point and a through ball by Ewan McBain caught the United defence out with HARRY RAE scoring well. Cameron McDonald and Matt Milne were linking well with Cameron setting up Matt but the United keeper saved well. The next attack saw the reverse with Matt Milne crossing and CAMERON MCDONALD finishing well into the bottom corner. Liam Duthie was in command now in midfield and sent the ball wide. The ball was whipped in with pace but Scott Cadger couldn't get on the end.

United were playing well down the right and Ross Reid had to do some stern defending with United's number 10 and 8 playing particularly well but the final ball was letting them down. The midfield battle was being won by Kintore BC now and some good football was being played. A ball through to Danny Hedley was saved well and another was offside.

Half Time 2-0

The game kicked off with pressure from United coming to nothing as Cameron Cobban and Ewan McBain battled hard in defence. A move straight off the training ground saw Matthew Stephen send the ball to Harry Rae, with options left, right and centre he laid it back to OWEN LAWSON who chipped the keeper from outside the box. United raised their game and forced Kintore BC back, Jack Chalmers getting injured in a last ditch tackle. Another attack forced a corner with United's number 6 hitting the post with a flashing header.

This was a warning to Kintore BC, led on by Liam Duthie and Harry Rae they raised their game again. Harry Rae set up Matt Milne on the edge of the box but the keeper saved well. Liam Duthie set up Owen Lawson who shot wide just seconds later. Good work up the right saw Cameron McDonald beat two players with sheer strength and then power a cross to HARRY RAE who finished in style. A break by Kintore BC forced a corner with United saving well from a Liam Duthie pass to Ewan McBain who blasted over. United keeper was called into action saving from Cameron McDonald. A defence splitting pass from Liam Duthie saw Matt Milne blast over.

Jack Watt was sent through but narrowly missed the target. United broke well after good inter passing but the final ball saw the forward offside. Kintore BC broke forward with Jack Watt, Matt Milne and Matthew Stephen busting a gut. The keeper saved well from Matt Milne but a combination of Jack Watt and Matthew Stephen set the rebound up for him again and this time MATT MILNE blasted it home. A well deserved result with some excellent performance from the boy's. Harry Rae, Matt Milne and Liam Duthie standing out and Stuart Derval dealing with everything that came his way. Man of the match goes to Cameron McDonald a goal capping off a solid game.
