Today saw a depleted Kintore side travel to Westfield Park Bridge Of Don. Sweeper Matthew Stephen, centre back Ewan McBain and right back Cameron Cobban all sidelined. This gave a chance for Dylan Chapman to come in as a trialist, which he took with both hands and did very well for never having played before. The first twenty minutes started brightly for the home side who went up 2-0 but Kintore rallied and the midfield started to press the ball better. As a result Jack Chalmers intercepted a pass on the edge of the B.O.D box and sent in DANNY HEDLEY who slotted the ball in to the bottom corner.
Half Time 1-2
The second half was a bit of a scrappy game with Kintore having to do some desperate defending because they struggled to clear from goal kicks. On one of these occasions it led to B.O.D going up 3-1. The last twenty minutes saw a tired Kintore side struggle for any sustained possession which led to more pressure on their goal and B.O.D capitalized with another 3 goals.
A well deserved win for B.O.D but shows Kintore needs all their players fit and well against the stronger sides. A mention must go to Cameron McDonald who got stuck in but was shaded for man of the match by Liam Duthie who led the line very well.
